Our staff is the lifeline for our patients, residents, and their families.The primary purpose of the LPN is to ensure the highest quality of resident care available, support staff and establish a positive reputation in the community while delivering on the Eduro HealthCare Values of wellness, compassion, customer experience and company results.**Daily Pay Available**LPN Responsibilities:The LPN/LVN is responsible for providing nursing care as directed by the Director of Nursing and for supervising the program aide assigned to assist with nursing services.Taking and monitoring patient vital signsAssisting patients with eating, dressing, and bathingAdministering medicationCommunicating changes in patient behavior or health status to Nurses, Physicians, and family membersMaintaining accurate patient recordsCollecting specimen samples when neededTaking an active part in patient care planningPreparing patients for transfers or dischargeAssisting in medical proceduresManaging emergency medical situationsLPN Requirements:Must have a valid LPN license in good standing.Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program required.Completion of orientation required by company policy.Health screening and TB test (if required) within two weeks of employment.Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire.Must be free of criminal activity proven by a criminal background check.Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment.Highschool Diploma or equivalent.Other DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
