Job Description:Accountable for performing and coordinating and
scoring physiologic studies of sleep and sleep-related disorders.
The incumbent provides care to patients via technology, therapeutic
interventions, and coordination of care with other health care

- Full time: 36 hours Scope:
- Perform overnight Polysomnographic studies, using various modes
of Positive Airway Pressure (PAP) therapy interventions.
- Perform Home Sleep Apnea Tests (HSAT).
- Monitors and documents on patients undergoing physiologic
studies.
- Monitors and tracks equipment and supplies.
- Completes record keeping and charting.
- Ability to address and solve both technical and interpersonal
problems.
- Demonstrated communication skills.
- Ability to use computerized and mechanical equipment
efficiently.
- Ability to Score Studies according to AASM guidelines.
- Obtain 10 Continuing Education Credits (CEC) related to sleep
medicine annually.
- This position provides supervision, mentorship, and
orientation/ongoing education of the PSG Tech and PST CPSGT.Minimum
Qualifications
- High School Degree or GED
- BLS Certification or RQI for Healthcare Providers
- Current RPSGT/RST or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
licensed in the state of practice, if required
- Available to work varying shifts, including night shift.
- Specific certifications or skills as required by facility or
patient population (i.e. PALS, ACLS, NRP).Preferred Qualifications
- Anatomy courses
- If working in Idaho, PSGT Permit issued by the Idaho State
Board of Medicine.
- Clinical or patient care experience
- Proven ability to supervise others
- Available to work the night shift with demonstrated ability to
do so
- Demonstrated ability to address and solve both technical and
interpersonal problems
- Demonstrated communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to use computerized and mechanical
equipmentPhysical Requirements
- Ongoing need for employee to see and read information,
documents, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able
to assess customer needs.
- Frequent interactions with providers, colleagues, customers,
patients/clients, and visitors that require employee to verbally
communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information,
needs, and issues quickly and accurately.
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and
delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes
frequent computer use for typing, accessing needed information,
etc.
- May have the same physical requirements as those of clinical or
patient care jobs, when the leader takes clinical shifts.
- For roles requiring driving: Expected to drive a vehicle which
requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and
