Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dialysis Technician to join our team. As a Dialysis Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing life-saving treatments to patients with kidney disease. Your primary responsibility will be to operate and maintain dialysis equipment, monitor patients during treatment, and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the process.Duties:- Set up and prepare dialysis machines and equipment for patient treatment- Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their overall condition during dialysis treatment- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals- Perform venipuncture and connect patients to dialysis machines- Monitor fluid removal and adjust treatment parameters as necessary- Document patient information, including vital signs, weight, and treatment details- Educate patients on self-care techniques and provide emotional support- Clean and disinfect dialysis equipment according to established protocols- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure effective patient careSkills:- Proficient in medical terminology related to dialysis procedures- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology- Familiarity with aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment during procedures- Ability to operate and troubleshoot dialysis machines and equipment- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals- Attention to detail and ability to accurately document patient informationRequirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Completion of an accredited Dialysis Technician program or relevant certification- Current certification as a Dialysis Technician (CDT) preferred but not required- CPR certification required- Previous experience in a dialysis setting is a plusWe offer competitive pay rates, comprehensive benefits packages, and opportunities for career growth within our organisation.
