Successful candidates will be organized, demonstrate good communication skills, and safely use various hand tools.Job Duties:Build shipping crates/palletsSafely load/unload parts and materials throughout the facilityWork with hand and power toolsComplete forklift inspections to monitor the maintenance needs; communicate maintenance issues on a timely basis to your supervisorAssist with the organization and good housekeeping of the facilityAbility to work outside, sometimes during inclement weather conditions, loading and unloading materials/partsComply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policiesManagement retains the discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any timeQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentKnowledge of safe use and handling of toolsForklift driving experience, preferredPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift medium to heavy weight up to 75 lbs.May sit or stand for prolonged periods of timeMay stoop, bend, reach, walk; perform repetitive motions using hands to grasp, push, pull or do fine manipulationsMust have adequate sight to read blueprints, work orders, or other documentsThe noise level in the work environment can be loud.
