• And more!Job DetailsWe are currently seeking experienced Permanent Directional Drill Operators/Horizontal Drillers to join our team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in horizontal drilling, directional drilling, drill operations, fiber, underground construction, and underground utility. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain directional drilling equipment to install underground utilities
  • Perform daily pre-trip inspections and maintenance on drilling equipment
  • Read and interpret project plans and blueprints
  • Set up and operate drilling equipment to install conduit and cables for fiber optic networks
  • Monitor drilling operations to ensure safety and accuracy
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during drilling operations
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policiesQualifications:
    • Minimum of three years of experience in horizontal drilling, directional drilling, drill operations, fiber, underground construction, and underground utility
    • Ability to read and interpret project plans and blueprints
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to operate and maintain drilling equipment
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively with other team members
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
