JOB TITLE: Compliance Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Compliance
JOB STATUS: Exempt
SALARY RANGE: $40,000-$55,000/year (Monday-Friday 8am-5pm)
LOCATION: Billings, MT (On-site) OR Helena, MT (On-Site)
REPORTS TO: Senior Director of Compliance
DIRECT REPORTS: No

The Compliance Coordinator is responsible for maintaining all equipment regulatory compliance for CrossCountry Freight Solutions. This includes but is not limited to registration of vehicles, maintaining IRP accounts, IFTA filings, equipment title management, maintaining vehicle lists, sending out vehicle plates, IFTA stickers and insurance cards, and maintaining all vehicle cab cards and registrations within the fleet.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Ensure compliance with regulations as they apply to commercial equipment regulatory compliance.
• File all required IFTA, IRP, State, and Federal Filings as needed to maintain compliance.
• Maintain IFTA Mileage Quarterly filings.
• Process quarterly IFTA filings
• Maintain all vehicle registrations and titles.
• Identify and maintain state vehicle permits
• Maintain TSA compliance for the company
• Interact with Local, State, and Federal agencies to process all registrations company wide.
• Coordinate/oversee development, enhancement of data systems and training requirements to meet DOT, State and Federal regulations. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Strong CSA Program knowledge
  • Able to deliver results and strive for continuous improvement
  • Must be highly motivated, able to work independently
  • Strong speaking/ presentation skills
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of FMCSA and DOT regulations
  • Must be able to effectively communicate/ build rapport with field employees
  • Must be approachable and responsive to a variety of people and issues
  • Must be able to handle conflict and make effective decisions under pressure
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
