Job Description:

1st Liberty Federal Credit union is looking to hire a Full -Time Teller for the Conrad location and Part-Time Teller for the Shelby Office who are willing to be FLEXIBLE with their scheduled shifts. Come join the strongest progressive Credit Union in the area. You will be responsible for assisting members with their account financial needs. These duties include, but are not limited to: providing account information, processing various financial transactions, such as, account deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments and matching our members' needs with the appropriate Credit Union Products/Services. Receive checks and money for deposit, verify amounts, and check accuracy of deposit slips. Keep records of money and negotiable instruments involved in a financial institutions's various transactions. Balance currency, coin, and checks in cash drawers at end of shift, and calculate daily transactions using computers, calculators, or adding machines. Receive checks and cash for deposit, verify amounts, and check accuracy of deposit slips. Enter customers' transactions into computers to record transactions and issue computer-generated receipts and pay-out money Identify transaction mistakes when debits and credits do not balance. Prepare and verify cashier's checks. Cash checks and pay out money after verifying that signatures are correct, that written and numerical amounts agree, and that accounts have sufficient funds. Prefer 1 year Teller/Customer Service or Related work experience and High School Diploma/ Equivalent. Must greet customers immediately in a professional manner and possess excellent Customer Service Skills. Also must possess excellent listening and written/verbal communications skills. Proven team play with organizational and multi-tasking skills. Basic knowledge of standard office equipment and Microsoft Office and be able to lift 50 lbs.
