A rural short-term acute care hospital is seeking a full-time,
MT-licensed RN for their Labor and Delivery department.
Located in north-central Montana, the Labor and Delivery
Registered Nurse RN will have the chance to work in a highly
respected community hospital, providing high-quality rural
healthcare to its community for over 40 years. Working in the Labor
and Delivery department, the Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse RN
will be in a facility that provides 24 coverage for mothers to be.
Furthermore, the exceptional unit helps parents with: information
on normal childbirth, Labor coping techniques, breastfeeding
information, newborn care, and anesthesia/medication for pain
relief and cesarean births.
The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse RN will provide highly
quality nursing care, in accordance with the hospital’s mission and
vision. With a heavy focus in antepartum, intrapartum and
postpartum periods, the RN Labor and Delivery Nurse will show high
level of nursing knowledge based on evidence-based practices to
provide high-quality patient care. Additionally, will also care for
newborns, utilizing the nursing process.
This self-motivated individual will assess, plan, implement and
evaluate care for the patient directly. In doing so, the Labor and
Delivery Registered Nurse RN will respond quickly and accurately to
changes in the patient’s condition. The Labor and Delivery
Registered Nurse RN will also promote patients’ independence by
establishing patient care goals and educating patients about their
