Job Description:

Montana's fastest growing beverage distributor, Hayden Beverage Company, is hiring a Supply Chain Specialist. This position is responsible for the activities associated with inventory management involving demand planning, buying, and logistics for product that is sold and distributed by the company.
Our Supply Chain Specialist will monitor inventory levels in multiple warehouses to identify and transfer product to non-receiving warehouses to maintain adequate days of inventory and fill rate for entire company. Additional responsibilities include:

• Identifying and ordering the proper quantity, negotiating freight pricing and shipment terms and overseeing the timely delivery of materials needed to fulfill customer orders
• Strength in inventory management by assessing new and open orders, and managing the forecast for future demand in order to provide adequate inventory
• When something significant changes in the supply chain, responding to these changes in demand and solving any supply chain problems that arise is a must
• Communicate regularly with internal team in order to avoid unforeseen changes or surprises in orders. The Qualified Candidate:
  • Has a High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or other relevant fields preferred

  • Can demonstrate proficiency in the use of basic office equipment, ten key, and entry level accounting terminology
  • Can Demonstrate proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; Intermediate MS Excel ability, specifically with knowledge of lookup and reference functions as well as pivot tables, ability to create spreadsheets, work with formulas
  • Can demonstrate the ability to maintain professional relationships with internal and external clients while providing high levels of service by communicating clear and timely responses to issues, requests, problems and regular reporting
    Examples of Work:
    • Evaluate vendor performance and provide feedback to responsible Brand Managers
    • Communicate with internal departments regarding product availability, delivery schedules and seasonal changes
    • Maintain all forecasting and demand planning for future replenishment
    • Maintain the transportation methods that guarantee customers receive their shipments when needed, and cost are within contracted rates
    • Create and maintain sales reports for senior management and analyze sales figures to project future volume requirements
    • Work with accounting to ensure pricing, bill backs and invoices can be processed
    • Review freight recaps to ensure cost is in line to goal
    • Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery and compliance of terms of contracts
    • Monitor stock levels in all warehouse to insure proper DOI
    • Prepare and submit detailed reports for slow problem inventory, close dated, item review, buying and transportation restraints etc Requirements
