Job Description:

Felt Martin PC is seeking a full-time general practice associate attorney with an interest in public education law. We prefer candidates with 2 or more years of experience practicing law but will consider law students and new attorneys. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and proven case management skills, excellent communication and analytical skills, excellent research and writing skills, and excellent client development and communication skills. Associate Attorney duties and responsibilities Work closely with partner attorney to serve existing school district clients Assisting in the preparation of pleadings, notices and subpoenas Providing legal and administrative support to attorneys Conducting legal research Analyzing conflicts in legal matters and advising clients on solutions Coordinating and preparing administrative reports Assisting in the review of legal documents for accuracy and completeness Ensuring confidentiality Associate Attorney requirements and qualifications Accredited Law degree Prefer minimum of 2 years of experience in a law firm or legal practice but will consider law students and new attorneys Strong legal knowledge Strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and collaborate with others Strong client service orientation Ability to prioritize work Proficiency in MS Office Exceptional decision-making abilities Strong project management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work under pressure Ability to travel periodically for client meetings and court appearances Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 1 - 3 years Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 Annual Bonus/Commission: No
