This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel Training Services Team.This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.What You'll Get To Do:The Sr. Principal Technical Writer will support the Training Services Lead in providing design, development, and delivery technical publications, training courseware and related services. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.You'll Bring These Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university with 9 or more years of experience in technical writing, courseware development, instruction or industry training content development; 8 Years with Masters. Four additional years of experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable.Must have U.S. Citizenship with a current or active Secret level clearance.Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Top Secret Security Clearance.Must be comfortable in a lab environment and be able to collaborate closely with system engineers, hardware designers, and integration/test engineers.Working knowledge of customer compliance documents, government instructions, and government standards.These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:Ability to read schematic diagrams dealing with wiring and fluid flow desiredMilitary training system technical writing and/or Instructional Systems Design experience desiredMilitary maintenance instructor experience desiredICBM or related domain experienceBasic understanding of Agile processesSalary Range: $84,100 USD $126,100 USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
