Grumman Space Systems Support and Training Segment is seeking
qualified individuals to fill a Sr. Principal Technical Writer role
in support weapon system-based training. This position will be
located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel Training Services
Team.This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance
package.What You'll Get To Do:The Sr. Principal Technical Writer
will support the Training Services Lead in providing design,
development, and delivery technical publications, training
courseware and related services. They will support the creation and
maintenance of formal curricula and other training
services.Prepares in-house training documentation, training
materials, course content, methodology and coordination of the
development of training aidsSupports the development of criteria
for evaluating effectiveness of training activitiesContinuously
revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and maintain
updated technical informationDevelops task lists, objectives,
syllabi and training products according to DoD, USAF and ACC
operating instructions and Instructional System Design
(ISD)Provides input to meet new training requirements and to keep

The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday
through Thursday to take every other Friday off.You'll Bring These
Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university with
9 or more years of experience in technical writing, courseware
development, instruction or industry training content development;
8 Years with Masters. Four additional years of experience in lieu
of a degree is acceptable.Must have U.S. Citizenship with a current
or active Secret level clearance.Must have the ability to obtain
and maintain a DOD Top Secret Security Clearance.Must be
comfortable in a lab environment and be able to collaborate closely
with system engineers, hardware designers, and integration/test
engineers.Working knowledge of customer compliance documents,
government instructions, and government standards.These
Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:Ability to read schematic
diagrams dealing with wiring and fluid flow desiredMilitary
training system technical writing and/or Instructional Systems
Design experience desiredMilitary maintenance instructor experience
desiredICBM or related domain experienceBasic understanding of
Agile processesSalary Range: $84,100 USD $126,100 USDEmployees may
be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
