Space Systems is seeking a Senior Staff Aeronautical Engineer to
join the Payload Team. This position is in Roy, UT and supports the
Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. This role may
offer a competitive relocation package.What You'll Get To Do:The
selected candidate will be part of the Payload Team (PLT) as a
technical leader in the design, build, and test of the Payload
Reentry System (PRS) element of the Sentinel Intercontinental
Ballistic Missile (ICBM) such that it successfully meets
requirements as proven by design reviews, detailed analyses,
characterization testing, and qualification verification processes.
Roles and Responsibilities include:Has responsibility for
controlling the PRS technical baseline. Coordinates requirements
development, modeling and analysis, hardware/software design,
verification, validation, and integration activities across
elements contributing to design and deliveryEnsures that the
program is adhering to sound engineering processes in the
development, production, test and sustainment of products for our
customers and is compliance with company policies, procedures, and
quality standardsMaintains cognizance over technical activities
within adjacent Aerospace Vehicle Segment and ensures horizontal
integration of the best engineering practices across the
companyContinually coordinates with the systems engineering and
program integration team leadership to ensure the execution of
program statement of work.Extensive customer, and external
stakeholder interfacing and some travel will be required.Work
collaboratively and with influence to gain commitment and
performance from all organizations including the Aerospace Vehicle
Segment and Program customers, Business Operations and Contracts,
System Design, Integration and Test as needed to drive required

experience; 12 years with Master's Degree; 9 years with
PhDExtensive experience leading a technical team to successful

years#GBSDMechanicalSalary Range: $154,300 USD $231,500
USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition
to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
