Job Description:
Job Requirements: Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in the food
industry Be able to prepare menu with General Manager to meet
owners wishes on a weekly basis Collaborate with breakfast and
lunch cook for food quality and preparation Be able instruct and
coach kitchen staff in prep of food Knowledge of cooking items for
guest with food restrictions Excellent communication skills and a
friendly attitude to guests and fellow workers. Meet deadlines Work
will start in mid-May and run to approximately October 30th, could
last longer but will know in advance. Meal planning Some baking
skills Inventory control We are seeking a skilled executive chef to
lead and manage our kitchen and staff. You will train the staff in
cooking techniques, and oversee the preparation of dishes. You will
be the main cook in the kitchen and prepare the final dishes before
being presented to the guests. We pride ourselves on high quality
foods prepared to perfection. You will be responsible for inventory
control and ordering food on a weekly basis. Personality is a plus
in this postion as you will be in close contact with all our
quests. We are a privately owned guest ranch and have weekly groups
anywhere from 15 to 35 guests and prepare our meals based on a
selected menu from the owners. We do a complete turn over every
week, our season starts at the end of May and continues through
October. We have living arrangements on the property at no charge.
We are located a short distance from the town of Cascade and have
two larger towns close by. Bell Cross is one of the most beautiful
ranches in Montana, and it's a great place to come and enjoy the
beauty that surrounds us. Good home cooked meals that reflect
Montana's quality beef, elk and bison, that's our main focus.
