• Duration: Approximately 24 weeks
• Shift: Night shift, 12-hour coverage
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $4,430 - $4,750

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in trauma surgery, acute care, emergency medicine, or a related high-acuity setting
• Current state medical licensure and eligibility to practice as a physician in the applicable state
• BLS certification for healthcare providers
• Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and patient management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based, high-pressure hospital environment
• Comfort with technology, documentation, and clear communication
• Eligible for credentialing and privileging requirements

• Participate in the emergency department resuscitation of trauma patients
• Serve as team lead or assist in the trauma bay during resuscitations
• First assist the trauma surgeon in the operating room when needed
• Support performance improvement, morbidity and mortality review, research, outreach, and trauma prevention efforts
• Educate trauma fellows, APP students, residents, patients, and families
• Update families on patient condition and help develop plans of care
• Provide instruction and training to staff and learners as appropriate
• Stay current with best practices through continuing medical education
