Job Description:
Intermountain Healthcare invites applications for the position
of MRI Technologist at our state-of-the-art facilities. As a
committed provider of top-tier medical services, we seek a
professional MRI Technologist to join our team. This role entails
utilizing magnetic resonance imaging scanners to capture specific
images ordered by a physician to aid in patient diagnosis. The
ideal candidate will have a knack for precision, outstanding
interpersonal skills, and a deep commitment to patient care.
Operate MRI equipment to produce images according to physician's
orders Ensure the comfort and safety of patients during procedures
Adjust scan parameters appropriately for optimal results Maintain
records of imaging procedures Work closely with radiologists to
determine the need for further tests Follow and promote procedures
for radiation safety Educate patients on scan processes Proficiency
in using MRI scanning equipment Strong understanding of anatomy,
physiology, and medical terminology Excellent patient management
and communication skills Ability to troubleshoot technical issues
with imaging equipment Skill in maintaining accurate patient
records and adhering to confidentiality requirements Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic
Technologists (ARRT) required Additional certification in MRI
technology preferred
