Nurse monitors maternal and fetal well-being. The nurse manages
labor progression. This role includes assisting with deliveries.
The nurse responds promptly to obstetric emergencies. Strong
clinical judgment and effective communication are essential. The
nurse provides emotional support to patients and families during
significant moments. Responsibilities include administering
medications. Performing cervical exams within scope is required.
Interpreting fetal monitoring strips is part of the role. The nurse
prepares patients for operative deliveries. Providing postpartum
education is essential. This nurse plays a critical role in
