Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 3 years in OR nursing License: Required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Must have Craniotomy experience. Must have Da Vinci Xi Surgical System experience. Description: The position involves working in the Operating Room as a registered nurse. Candidates must be strong in various surgical fields including Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, General, and Trauma. They should be capable of handling all cases independently across service lines such as Urology, Gynecology, GYN-Oncology, ENT, and robotics. The role requires nurses to be prepared for calls and potentially step in as charge nurse when needed. Candidates will need to provide care for a diverse patient demographic including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Strong experience in trauma and complex surgical procedures is essential. The team is supported by multidisciplinary staff including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more. The facility operates with a daily census of approximately 40 patients and has 14 operating rooms.
