Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Billings, MT Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,146 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years of prior ICU RN experience required License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Independent and competent ability to work with complex, high acuity trauma, neuro, and surgical ICU patients. Experience with patient ratios of 2. Description: ICU RN position available for 3x12 night shifts. No block scheduling will be offered. Weekends will be required, but not every weekend. The RN may be scheduled two weekends in a row. This position is not suitable for novice or entry-level RNs. The role requires working with patients who have complex and high acuity conditions. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Local candidates within 75 miles will not be accepted. Preferred qualifications include previous charge experience and experience with trauma level I and II patients. Familiarity with charting systems, preferably Cerner. Skills required include the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, care of ventilated patients, and arterial line management. The shift includes a patient ratio of 2 during days, nights, and weekends. Candidates will primarily float within the critical care division as needed. This position involves working with a variety of patient age groups, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support includes teams such as IV, physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. The daily census is approximately 6 patients with a total of 10 beds available.
