the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find
a qualified Endoscopy RN in Billings, Montana, 59101! Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Gastrointestinal
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience:
Minimum years of medical surgical experience with strong emphasis
on assessment skills. Endoscopy experience preferred. License:
Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice
required. Certifications: BLS - American Heart Association. ACLS
required. Description: Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and
supervises individual patient care in the GI Lab according to unit
policies and procedures. Accepts responsibility for the direction
of coworkers in the implementation of the care plan. Performs other
duties as assigned. Be available to work as scheduled and report to
work on time. Be available to be on-call as assigned. Be willing to
accept supervision and work well with others. Be respectful of all
with whom you interact and follow service behaviors. Be
well-groomed and dressed appropriately for your role. Be
sufficiently rested to perform duties throughout the assigned
period. Demonstrate a willingness to learn. Be able to communicate
clearly, think clearly, and concentrate on assigned tasks. To
perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to
perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Collects, analyzes, and
organizes patient care data. Applies technical skills and
experience to assess the patient's status and needs. Completes
appropriate diagnostic techniques/tests to ascertain patient's
ongoing condition. Implements a plan of care that encompasses
traditional and complementary therapies. Performs necessary
interventions. Directs, instructs, and observes patients and
significant others in self-care/patient care or understanding of
information given. Informs himself/herself of physician's
instructions or ancillary caregiver's observations or concerns and
takes these into consideration in providing appropriate care.
Provides ongoing evaluation of patient's response to care and
revises the plan of care as necessary. Keeps an accurate record of
patient's status and care dispensed. Completes checklists, writes
clear narratives, and/or enters data onto computer files as
appropriate. Ensures proper documentation for next shift and next
caregiver. Follows up on outstanding data or instructions.
Completes appropriate teaching (instruction sheet), discharge
