Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Billings, MT Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,136 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1.5 years of prior ICU RN experience required License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Independent, competent ability to work with complex, high acuity trauma/neuro/surgical ICU patients Description: ICU RN position for day shifts. The schedule includes weekends, though not every weekend. May be scheduled for two consecutive weekends. This position requires independent and competent nursing abilities. Experience with high acuity trauma, neuro, and surgical ICU patients is essential. Candidates must have a minimum of 1.5 years of prior ICU RN experience. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required. First-time travelers are accepted. Locals residing within 75 miles of the facility are not eligible. Candidates may float primarily within the Critical Care Division. Patient ratios are 2:1 during days and nights. Daily census averages six patients. The unit supports a range of interdisciplinary services including IV teams, physical therapy, and respiratory services. Patient groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The unit specializes in trauma, neurosurgical cases, and general surgery. Knowledge and experience with CRRT are preferred.
