Experience in both Labor and Delivery Description: Responsibilities
for the Labor & Delivery Nurse include monitoring maternal and
fetal well-being. The nurse manages labor progression and assists
with deliveries. Promptly responding to obstetric emergencies is
essential in this role. Strong clinical judgment and effective
communication skills are required. Providing emotional support to
patients and families during significant moments is crucial. The
nurse delivers safe, efficient, and caring nursing services. This
position aims to achieve high standards of patient care for Labor &
Delivery and Obstetrics. Responsibilities include administering
medications and performing cervical exams within scope.
Interpreting fetal monitoring strips and preparing patients for
operative deliveries are key tasks. Providing postpartum education
is also part of the role. This nurse plays a critical role in
