Roles & Responsibilities Provide compassionate, high-quality
nursing care to long term care residents on night shift Assess
resident condition, implement nursing interventions, and document
care accurately Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including
LPNs and support staff to ensure continuity of care Float between
two floors as needed to support staffing and resident needs Support
unit operations during your shift, including medication
administration and care planning Step into charge duties for your
unit as assigned, ensuring safe and efficient care delivery
Qualifications Current RN license (RN needed for this role) Minimum
2 years recent experience working in a long term care unit
(required) Experience working night shifts and ability to manage
overnight resident needs Comfortable floating between units and
adapting to changing patient assignments Experience with PCC
workflows is a plus Knowledge & Skills Strong knowledge of long
term care patient care and resident-centered practices Proven
skills in night shift clinical assessment, medication
administration, and documentation Ability to collaborate with LPNs,
CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams Good clinical judgment,
prioritization, and crisis management during overnight hours
Familiarity with LTC unit routines, infection control, and resident
