Job Description:
Are you an experienced Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon looking for an
exciting locum tenens opportunity? A facility near Hardin, MT, is
seeking a skilled physician to provide much-needed coverage in
their orthopaedic surgery department. This ongoing locums role is
perfect for a board-certified or board-eligible physician with
fellowship training in orthopaedic trauma. Position Highlights:
Start Date: January 2025 Duration: Ongoing Coverage Type: Call Only
Schedule: 24-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays (New Year
s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and
Christmas) Support Staff: 24-hour APP support for both the floor
and OR Trauma Level: Level 1 Electronic Medical Records (EMR):
Cerner Practice Setting: Inpatient Only: No outpatient requirements
Admissions Required: Yes Supervision: Supervise Advanced Practice
Providers (APPs) as needed Skill Requirements: Proficiency in
various orthopaedic trauma surgeries, including but not limited to:
Arthroscopy Total joint replacement (hip, knee, shoulder) Joint
revision or repair Tendon release/repair Peripheral nerve surgery
Spine procedures (cervical, thoracic, lumbar) Qualifications:
Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery with a
fellowship in trauma Active Montana license or eligibility for IMLC
licensing Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
