Job Description:
Job Description: The Nurse Educator will be an expert in
industry education standards supporting and guiding caregivers in
self-improvement and self-development. The Nurse Educator will
assess, guide, support, coordinate, and evaluate caregivers?
orientation and ongoing learning needs in alignment with their
associated program, service or care group. Under the direction of
the Education Manager will be a resource, consultant, and mentor to
caregivers and clinical coaches in their assigned area fostering
self-reliance and building a social team.The RN Educator may be
asked to travel to various locations to perform their work duties.
Key Responsibilities - Deliver clinical expertise and apply the
nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and
evaluation—for each patient. - Coordinate care with the
multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes. - Provide
individual and group education for patients and families, assessing
physical and emotional needs and tailoring learning plans
accordingly. - Serve as a resource for hospital, home care, and
community healthcare professionals regarding specialty-specific
practices. - Collaborate with physicians on treatment and education
plans; develop tools to enhance communication and disease
management. - Uphold the mission, vision, and values of SCL Health
and adhere to service behavior standards. - Perform other duties as
assigned. Minimum Qualifications - Education: Bachelor’s Degree in
Nursing (required) - Licensure: Current Registered Nurse license;
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - Experience: Minimum of
three (3) years relevant nursing experience; two (2) years in
specialty area - Additional: Specialty certifications may be
required Preferred: - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) -
Experience in formal education or teaching activities Skills &
Competencies - Strong verbal and written communication skills -
Ability to maintain a positive, caring attitude toward patients -
Knowledge of healthcare technology, equipment, and supplies - Sound
judgment and composure in emergency situations - Excellent
organizational and presentation skills - Familiarity with state
nursing laws, practice guidelines, and clinic policies -
Understanding of adult learning principles and patient education
techniques - Knowledge of nursing processes, healthcare systems,
and community resources - Professionalism and strong work ethic
Physical Requirements: Ongoing need for employee to see and read
information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors,
identify equipment and supplies.- and -Frequent interactions with
patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require
employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand
spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and
accurately, particularly during emergency situations.- and -Manual
dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate
equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent
computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing
needed information, medication preparation, etc.- and -Expected to
lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will
also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment.
Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including
heavy items.- and -Need to walk and assist with
transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing
supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and
portable equipment, including heavy items. Often required to
navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on
the floor, etc).- and -May be expected to stand in a stationary
position for an extended period of time. Location: Intermountain

Montana Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 The hourly range for this
position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon
