Responsibilities - Work in the Operating Room of a Level I Trauma Center hospital - Patient population includes neurosurgical and general surgery cases - Neuro procedures include ALIF, anterior cervical fusion, craniotomy, kyphoplasty, laminectomy/discectomy, lumbar fusion, and XLIF - Utilizes the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System for robotics procedures - 3x12 hour day shifts (6:45 am – 6:15 pm) with rotating days off as needed - May include weekend shifts - On-call required: typically one weeknight per week and one weekend shift per month - No floating required unless agreed upon in interview - Main responsibilities focus on neuro and robotics surgical procedures - First-time travelers are accepted for this position - Pre-start online modules required, with first 8 hours non-billable - Return staff must have at least a 1-year separation before eligibility - Flexible on requested time off with willingness to make up missed time Requirements - Active RN license (MT or compact) required - Minimum 3 years prior OR RN experience required - Level I Trauma Center experience required - Predominantly neuro skillset (at least 3 out of 4 skills) - Robotics (Da Vinci Xi Surgical System) experience required - Current BLS certification required - References required - Must live at least 75 miles from facility; locals not accepted Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-629383.
