per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:
RN Specialty: Surgical Services Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift
Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years RN
circulation experience License: Wyoming Nursing License
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: - Understanding of
orthopedic, general, obstetric, ENT, and urological procedures -
Experience with Cerner EMR charting system - Ability to assist with
anesthesia and placement of ET tube Description: Prepare operating
room for surgical procedures by gathering equipment, medication,
and extra supplies. Open surgical supplies using sterile techniques
and monitor sterile field. Assess patient condition prior to
surgery. Assist anesthesia with induction and placement of ET tube.
Complete charting in the electronic medical record. Help turnover
operating room suite to maintain efficient patient flow. Utilize
Stryker trauma implants, Stryker video system, Karl Storz video
system, and Stryker sport medicine equipment. Work a day shift with
call responsibilities. Call typically required for 10-12 days each
month. Nurse to patient ratio for the unit is 1:19. Basic unit and
safety orientation is provided. Orientation to the department lasts
