As a RN Resource Critical Emergent Care, you need to know how to: Assess patients needing immediate attention, determines resources needed to assist in stabilizing and caring for patients. Ensures medical screening exam is facilitated as appropriate; obtains focused subjective and objective data thru history taking and physical exam, based on initial presentation Plan and coordinate team efforts for assigned patient population, using age specific assessment techniques. Differentiates the severity of patient condition and proceeds appropriately. Develops a therapeutic relationship with the patient/family and creates an environment for healing Develops focused assessment and critical thinking skills and utilizes evidence-based research to guide practice and enhance positive patient outcomes. Develops and modifies individualized plans of care; communicates changes in the plan of care to the patient and healthcare team Evaluate patient status and responses to interventions and care, determining progress towards resolution of immediate needs Plan discharge and facilitate patient education activities, clarifying learning needs to optimize patient outcomes and learning to occur Participates in collaborative patient care with providers on a daily basis. Works with other members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team and the patient/family to assist in the development, updating and/or reinforcement of the patient's plan of care Systematically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing care and participates in individual and collective activities to improve patient care and the healthcare environment. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Current Montana Registered Nurse licensure Current BLS certification Current ACLS certification or ability to obtain with six months of hire Current PALS certification or ability to obtain within one year of hire Current TNCC and ENPC certification or ability to obtain within 18 months of hire Current NIH Stroke certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to successfully function in a fast paced, service-oriented environment Experience in understanding and usage of computers and ability to learn new program Your next move.
