As a Community Crisis Center RN, you will need to know how to:
- Provide nursing care to patients and be responsible for patient
care coordination, telephone triage, team leading and supporting
staff development in the clinic environment
- Use and document levels of care criteria for all patients
throughout care continuum and develop and direct continuum of care
map in collaboration with interdisciplinary team (IDT)
- Identify obstacles to efficiency and goal outcomes and
intervene to overcome or eliminate these when possible
- Assess patient needs, coordinate patient flow, administer care
and revise plan of care accordingly
- Demonstrate caring and involved behaviors to patient/family
members and play an advocacy role to ensure positive outcomes
- Perform phlebotomy tasks, collect and log specimens, assist in
the coordination of lab result reporting processes and perform
quality control checks
- Prepare and instruct patients for radiology procedure and
perform site specific chest and extremity procedures according to
policies and procedures

- Current MT Registered Nurse Licensure, required
- Current BLS certification, required
- Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a
