Job Description
The Director of Operations plays a crucial role in ensuring the Fieldprint Operations Department operates seamlessly on a daily basis, upholding the highest standards of quality, accuracy, timeliness, and customer service for all products and services. This position involves actively engaging with management, conducting strategic planning, providing effective supervision and training, implementing corrective measures when needed, overseeing the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, and fostering positive relationships with employees and the public. By fulfilling these responsibilities, the Director of Operations contributes to the overall success and reputation of the organization.
This is an on-site position in Mt. Laurel, NJ.

  • Provide comprehensive oversight of daily operations to ensure the production of high-quality work, prioritizing efficiency and service-oriented interactions across diverse stakeholders, thereby delivering industry-leading service.
  • Collaborate closely with management to facilitate seamless coordination of scheduling, production, and quality management, fostering a smooth and well-coordinated operational environment.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to both exempt and non-exempt employees, ensuring their adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
  • Oversee training programs in collaboration with the leadership team, ensuring employees receive the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Implement strategies to develop and nurture employees, preparing them for future advancement opportunities within the organization.
  • Create meaningful projections to assess future impacts to staff when there is growth and/or organizational change.
  • Take swift and appropriate corrective action whenever necessary, or alternatively, propose alternative courses of action to address issues effectively.
  • Oversee and maintains the ISO Quality Management System.
  • Perform all necessary supervisory functions to effectively and efficiently manage the personnel assigned.
  • Communicate areas of accountability and determine standards of performance as a basis to review progress, recommend salary adjustments, transfers, promotions, and dismissals. Required Skills

    • Proven experience in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures.
    • Ability to formulate policy, develop, and implement new strategies and procedures.
    • Able to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments.
    • Able to plan, develop and coordinate multiple projects.
    • Must have skills in fiscal management.
    • Has experience in conflict resolution and/or mediation skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in M.S. Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
    • Expected to travel for various client meetings and other business purposes. Education
      Education and Experience
      • Education or experience equivalent to a college degree is required.
      • A minimum of 10 years of related experience, including 3-4 years in a supervisory capacity is required.
