Grumman's Space Systems sector is looking for a Mission Assurance
Director 1 in our SDS Division. This leadership role is located in
Roy, Utah. Learn more about the Sentinel (GBSD) program here.
Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development,
production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for
Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne
Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated
infrastructure.What You Will Get To Do:The selected candidate will
be responsible for development, implementation & management of the
GBSD-Sentinel Enterprise and Program Mission Assurance policies,
procedures, & tools required to support Sentinel.Defines and
monitors mission assurance program specifications and processes to
ensure mission success of programs. Performs or assures quality,
risk management, safety, reliability and maintainability of program
achievements, subcontractors, and suppliers in accordance with
contractual requirements. Assesses program performance and risks
and determines resources to ensure mission assurance.Additional
responsibilities include developing, implement ting and managing
the Sentinel Enterprise and Program Mission Assurance Staffing,
policies, procedures, and tools.As a leader, you always act with

positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule
allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday
to take every other Friday off.This role may offer a competitive
relocation assistance package.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's
Degree in a STEM-related field of study and 10 years in technical
or engineering positions. Of which 5 years are within Quality
Assurance or Mission Assurance.Active Secret Clearance with the
ability to obtain a Top Secret6 years in a formal management
position to include performance review for direct reports whom are
managers. Experience with leading other managers.5 years of
experience Defense Industry experience as a Quality Manager,
Program or Project Manager.Experience in Metric development for
process health and performance monitoring for a large
programs/projects.3 years of experience with ISO 9001 / AS9100
Quality Management System setup, maintenance and certification
processes including creating/writing and updating
proceduresPreferred Qualifications:Active Top Secret
clearanceDirector of Manufacturing, Engineering, QA or Mission
AssuranceExcellent communication and problem-solving
skillsDemonstrated ability prioritizing tasks and meeting
deadlinesExperience as liaison between internal personnel,
suppliers, and customer workforceExperience in developing and
implementing Mission Assurance plansExperience in implementing
Lean/Six Sigma tools and techniques to drive continuous
improvement" Salary Range: $155,600 USD $233,400 USDEmployees may
be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as
well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in
Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
