life? As an Engineering Process & Testing Intern at Weatherby,
you'll work alongside experienced test technicians and engineers to
support testing, setup, and validation of new manufacturing
processes. This internship offers real exposure to process
development, testing procedures, and data-driven improvement in a
premium manufacturing environment. Summary The Engineering Process
& Testing Intern supports the Engineering team by assisting with
testing, initial setup, and validation of new and existing
manufacturing processes. This role focuses on hands-on support for
the introduction of a new reaction injection molding (RIM) process,
as well as validation and process control of the in-house 3D recoil
pad manufacturing process. The intern will assist with testing
procedures, data collection, documentation, and continuous
improvement efforts while working closely alongside an Engineering

validation, and testing-not just observation. Technical Skill
Development – Build foundational skills in testing procedures,
process control, and documentation. What You'll Do Assist with the
initial setup and testing of a new reaction injection molding (RIM)
process and for the in-house 3D recoil pad manufacturing process.
Support other testing activities under the guidance of the
Engineering team. Help collect, record, and organize test data
related to process performance and consistency. Support process
control activities, including documentation of procedures,
settings, and results. Prepare parts, materials, and test setups
required for testing and validation activities. Observe and follow
established testing procedures, safety standards, and documentation
practices. Assist with documenting test results, observations, and
improvement opportunities. Collaborate with engineering,
manufacturing, and quality partners as needed to support project
goals and overall company objectives. Qualifications Current
enrollment in college, or technical program (2nd year preferred).
Strong interest in manufacturing processes, testing, and hands-on
engineering work. Comfortable using basic measurement tools and
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). Strong attention to detail and
ability to follow procedures accurately. Ability to communicate
clearly and work effectively in a team environment. Must be at
least 18 years of age. Accountabilities and Measures Complete
assigned testing and project support tasks accurately and on time.
Follow all safety, testing, and documentation procedures.
Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and willingness to learn.
Contribute to successful completion of testing, validation, and
process setup activities. Physical Requirements Combination of
sedentary and active work including standing, walking, and use of
hands. Ability to handle tools, components, and test equipment.
Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral vision,
depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Occasionally lift
and/or move up to 25 pounds. Work Environment Office, laboratory,
and manufacturing environments. Exposure to moving mechanical
parts, noise, fumes, or airborne particles may occur during testing
